Beautiful as always, Tomtom. I love the petunia basket.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Fantastic. The antique container is a favorite of mine.
Tirellas look like they grew there on purpose.

OSAKA, Japan(Zone 9b)

Hi Pirl,
Thank you for your kind reaction.
I myself like its soft shades too.

Hi ge1836
Finally I made the thread and am so happy to have your comment.
I 'm so fond of this container .It's so heavy though.

The container looks like clay fired in a woodfired kiln. I always wished I could woodfire my pottery. I lived in a neighborhood and not the country. Woodsmoke would have driven the neighbors nuts.

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Beautiful...containers and flowers...quite enjoyed them.

Orange, CA

Hooray - you're back .I always enjoy studying your beautiful containers.

In your
large containers do you fill them entirely with soil or fill them partially with something else to lignten the load?

Don't hesitate to show us more.

OSAKA, Japan(Zone 9b)

sunkissed
So happy to learn that you've enjoyed them.

snowtop
Sometimes I use them as a container cover, and sometimes I fill them partially with something else .(mainly piecies of Styrofoam).
Thank you for your viewing .

Your flowers are so healthy and vibrant and I love the visual use of colorblocking!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Once again great containers. Are those Lobelias in #8?
I am using lobelias heavily this year.

OSAKA, Japan(Zone 9b)

Hi toni5735
>use of colorblocking

I didn't really mean to do the colorblocking.
But it turned out so as you pointed out .

ge1836
Yes the #8 is Lobelia as you said.
I really want to look at you Lobelia.

If the fog lifts and the atmosphere is brighter I will photo the lobelias I have.
These containers have only been planted about a week so nothing is filled out as it will be in a month or at least 2 more weeks.

Pretoria, South Africa

Absolutely beautiful!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

They are all so beautiful, Tomtom. It's better than looking at fancy magazines.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Here are the lobelias and some torenias in case .I also included a new trailer for me,Scavola. I have both white and lavander.
I believe the lavanders in Lobelia and Scavols arent that outstanding. My eyes arent what they could be but it appears to me I could have chosen white and had the same affect.

as time goes on.

TomTom..absolutely breaktaking! We do look forward to your photos each year. Wished you'd post more often and tell us some of your secrets. That Diascia is going on my wish list in 2012! That "pink champayne" snapdragon..did you order seeds for that or find it locally? That is a real beauty too. Look forward to seeing more of your "artwork." Thanks for sharing with us.

Cincinnati (Anderson, OH(Zone 6a)

Yes, I too always look forward to your virtual container display. Thanks for giving me such inspiration!

I can't believe that your flowers are mostly seed grown! That is quite an achievement~~they look so voluptuous and well-grown. And many of them are rather rare varieties.

Beautiful!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

TomTom,

Thank you for sharing. Beautiful combos.

Williamstown, NJ(Zone 6b)

I am in awe at those planters. They are gorgeous. Thank you for letting us see them. I should start doing more in planter due to the voles eating my plants.

Columbus, OH

Thank's, I can depend of your arrangements to wake up my brain
while deciding how to arrange my plants.
