I believe I got this dwarf, early iris from Long's Gardens in Boulder, Colorado during their spring dig-your-own open hours. That would have been about 10 years ago. However, I have misplaced the name, and I don't see anything resembling it on Long's Gardens current website. Some tickle at the back of my mind says maybe it's called 'Freckles'? but I'm not sure about that, and I couldn't find a dwarf iris by that name through an internet search. Does this picture ring a bell with anyone? It multiplies well, and appears to be very happy here in Salem, Massachusetts after I brought some back with me 4 years ago. Thanks for any thoughts you might have.
