Boy, I've been away from the forums for so long I may never get caught up. My gardens and yard are in the same shape.
Anyway, it seems that the squirrels have planted two chestnut trees on my front lawn, which is about 10' x 10' - so of course they can't stay there.
They're healthy and doing *very* well, (see pics) so if there's anyone in the Toronto area who would like them, D-mail me and we'll set up a time for you to come and get them, or it, as you choose.
I'm still trying to figure out where the squirrels got chestnuts to plant . . .
