Love the 'little' iris! I am adding Devoted, Fisson Chips, Jeweler's Art, Firestorm, Jive, Smart, Bee Knees, Tripod (IB), Death By Chocolate, Jazzmatazz, Tattler, and Lavender Lynx this year. Can't wait to get them, plant them and hopefully see blooms next year!

thank you for posting pictures here, Paul. What's a typo between friends. It is so good to see the dwarfs instead of just TBs. This from a non picture posting person because of not getting any into the computer.

Do you mean to the top bud?

Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris are 8-16" tall from the base to the top of the highest bloom and should be in good proportion, bloom stems to foliage...blooms nicely above, not in the foliage. There are several other bearded classes which have different heights and different characteristic.
