Stictocardia_____________? Thailand source

Do you remember several years ago, a Thailand seed source showed a picture on Ebay of a Stictocardia, and said that it was I. purpurea?? Some of us got in touch with him and asked which it was, and he quickly changed the name to Stictocardia, with appologies. I got plenty of these seeds, have never grown any out, and I am wondering if anyone else did.

I was always a little suspicious of the taxonomic ID, but the seeds did look convincingly, like Stictocardia, maybe at 40% scale. If you have grown these with or without success, I sure would like to hear about it after my 3+ year long absence.

In the last several years, as convolvulus world taxonomy is being brought up to date, several species of Argyreia, and other Genera have been transfered to the Genus Stictocardia. These taxonomic decisions were made on the basis of the similarity of the seed holding receptical in the base of the seedpod, being closer to the classical Stictocardia receptical. Botanist babble.
In layman's terms, this means that this genus Stictocardia, holds onto it's seeds and doesnt drop them freely.

If you got any of those ? Stictocardia from Thailand, and grew them, I would really like you to update us about them on this thread.......................Frank

I have studied the native species of Stictocardia of Thailand, and found that there are two species in Northern Thailand, where the seed seller of my seeds is located. They areS.bereviensis and S.tiliafolia.
The flowers are not even similar. The seller posted a usual picture showing a yellow background with bright red streaking. This leads me to believe that the seeds I bought from him are S.bereviensis.
