I've been looking around on the internet trying to figure out who these were made by. My uncle purchased these while in Italy back in the 70s or 80s. They appear to be the "terra cotta" type, with cork on the outside. They both have painted scenes on them. The bottom is cork, and there appears to have been writing there at one time but is no longer visible. The only thing close that I've been able to locate are some painted Sardinian cork postcards on Ebay. The paintings look very similar. Thanks !
Need help identifying (Italian?) painted cork pottery items.
