LOL! OK since you asked so nicely.....
We will probably be bringing Ky fried chicken, from the Dairy Queen.

I love fried chicken. It doesn't thrill my kids that much. :( I'm really happy to hear fried chicken!! LOL
Anyone have any requests??
Celene my mind is mush.
Refresh it w/ what you brought to Armco . I know there was one Robyn loved!
Greek Yogurt if you have any would be cool!
I have no recollection, lol. I made Texas sheet cake once, and I don't remember what I made the rest of the time.
Greek yogurt, plain??
Plain non-strained... it's hard to find here.
Can't remember what it was either!
Wasn't a dessert.
But it was good! LOL!
How much yogurt do you want??
Marshall says it was Greek pasta salad. (or caramel corn, lol)
I was reading an old thread the other day and I think you brought two kinds of salad because no one could agree because both sounded good. I know one was Greek and there was mention of Feta cheese. I want to say the other had bleu cheese but I could be wrong. It may have been a different year too!
The Pasta Salad is what Robyn said too.
Oh not much yogurt. Robyn's not a fan of it.
But I think Cookie may well be......
No problem :)
No I like feta and Yogurt... Robyn's not a big fan.... lol!
Will she eat potato salad with blue cheese? I normally use gorgonzola rather than roquefort, it is more creamy and mild.
I love feta and yogurt so much, I can't imagine disliking it. There's a Lebanese deli here that has EIGHT kinds of feta, sheep's milk, cow's milk, one goatmilk (which is quite goaty and strong), and at least a dozen kinds of olives. I love that place.
Celene the only thing Robyn can't eat is onions.
She has a reaction to it.
Other than that...lol!
I love Feta of all forms.
But I do prefer the less salty ones.
If I get a chance I'll run down to the Mediterranean Market.
They have a Oak Barrel aged Feta that is just great on crackers or plain.
I had a very sharp salty grating sheep cheese that one teaspoon on a pizza would change the whole flavor of the dish. Wasn't Pecorino Romano.... MUCH stronger in taste.
Still trying to re-find that one.
Ric
Look what brought me out ! I am still a part time lurker ever since I met some of you at one of the Round Ups a few years ago.. Juli brought me. Anyway, Celene, where is this lebanese deli ?
Sunny
Hi Sunny...it's Mediterranean Foods & Imports, 2647 N. High St. It's just south of OSU campus, close to Dodridge. You'll park around back, behind Hound Dog Pizza. They have an amazing selection of dates and baklava, too. They occasionally have homemade tabbouleh, hummus, and lebneh, all of which is great. When I buy it, I get the Greek yogurt that is in the black and white container with the cow print, and red lettering, it's the best of the bunch :) They have a great selection of bulk spices, and their coffee is TDF, if you like the strong, middle eastern style.
If you're in town, Nazareth Deli at Cleveland Avenue and 161 is also fantastic, though they are just a restaurant, no retail food stuff. The owner is HILARIOUS and the food is great. Super large portions, and everything is fresh and delicious.
SUNNY! So good to see you! You can still join us you know!
It was definitely the potato salad, Celene, cause I got the recipe from you.
I'll bring something if I get to come. Not sure what. Anyone bringing COOKIES?
I am bringing blondies and potato salad :) I'm afraid to do the cream cheese glaze on the blondies with the summer heat, but they're pretty rich and good without it.
I am bringing something that will not need to be heated before serving.
Aw shucks....
Thank you Celene ! I'll be checking those out when I'm nearby.
Joyce, thanks for the invite. I hope all is going as well as can be with your family. hugs, Sunny
Wouldn't it been fun to see Jazz and Crash, too???? Gosh I miss them.
I will bring fruit.
Rebeca
Ah, something healthy, good!
Would anyone like plain old salad? There's a local restaurant here that makes a really good family size salad. I can pack that into a cooler to bring with me if anyone thinks they'd like that. They have individual cups of Italian dressing to go with it or I can bring something different if anyone wants.
Me too.
Since I'm not a cook, I can bring plates, napkins and silverware and cups if we need them. That is, if it's okay with you all. Lou
Well any suggestions what for me to bring? Something unhealthy???? LOL!!!
I can't think what to bring??? Give me some ideas please!
Chocolate and gooey sounds good Marcy!
Chocolate and gooey is ALWAYS good ;)
MMMMMM...chocolate n gooey does sound good...lol!
I'll see what I can come up with. How does chocolate gooey spare ribs sound?????? OMG...that almost made me sick!!
