Ohh, I haven't seen a green moth here, Debi. Don't know what it is, but is very pretty. Barry has a butterfly book at his place, but I don't think it includes moths. Not sure I've ever seen a moth book. I tried looking up " green moth, brisbane" on google, but no luck there either.

This is one of the Emeralds, in the genus Chlorocoma. There are several very similar species, but I think yours could be Chlorocoma dichloraria: http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/geom/dichlor.html
