Tree Peony in a friends garden

It is just gorgeous. Is it a rockii? I will have to look it up.

I know next to nothing about peonies but looked it up. It is a suffruticosa.

Yes, I found it also. Adelman's has it. Have sent a note off to see if I could buy one the end of May while I am there or will I have to wait til fall.

Hopefully they will have one in a container. I haven't ordered from them but they have a glorious catalog that I look at often.

I think I have bought two or three from them. Problem is that I flying down from Alaska and need to take it back on the plane. I am not above putting it in a bag and taking it as carryon luggage. They let you do weird stuff in first class. lol
