Spring was trying to come in Nanaimo.

Certainly a lot sooner than Calgary!

Caroline look at all the blooms! I am jealous I bet it smelled great!

Yes, Spring has certainly sprung on Vancouver Island but we are being washed away with all the rains ! But I will certainly take it over the little, itty, bitty snow that we were all having palpatations over !

Maffeo Park was dreary and wet, so I did not smell the beautiful daffodils.
There were freshly planted pansy flowering, and the nanking cherry trees were trying to bloom.
Most of the trees had not leafed out.

The garden centers were fully stocked!

It's almost May.... what a weird spring!

Didn't they have a flower count end of February?

I think that they did... but didn't have too many participants.
