Black Kow composted manure

Rock Hill, SC

Has anyone used this in their bin? I looked at their website, and it does not look like there are any chemicals used, so I am wondering if worms would like to eat it?

They would much rather have veggie leaves, chopped carrots or apples and coffee grounds. In a year, you will have better stuff than Black Kow for your garden.

Thanks so much! I am so new to vermicomposting, and learning the ropes!

Maybe look for the beginner section because there are some things to learn - not hard to learn, just information things.

Good luck!

i dont use any manures in my compost bins.. because they are in the house..
i know morgan uses manures in his vermiculture..but they are outside..
one thing with manures.. it heats up.. and can be harmful to your little composters.. (worms)
if u are using a plastic tub(from your other post) i would keep with vegy refuse..as pbyrley says..
if u do eventually get into outdoor vermiculture.. then manure may be something u would want to
use..
good luck to ya !!!

This is pretty much what I thought, which is why I didn't buy it! Thanks so much for confirming!!
