HAS ANY EVER REMOVED THE "YOUR'RE IN DANGER" VIRUS?

Hello, everyone.

Despite running Windows Defender and Norton antivirus, my friend's computer got infected with the "Your're in danger" virus, written like that.

She is using Windows XP. Has anyone ever removed that particular virus?
Or yet, has anyone ever removed A virus?

I like to think of myself as computer literate, but I had never suffered through a virus attack (knock on wood). I also never had to remove a virus before.

I have googled the virus' name. Whatever tool I downloaded didn't do the job. All suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated.
