I know how difficult it is to ID an iris from a photo but had to try . I love this iris and would like to keep it but would like to have its name.
I have no idea where it came from. Must have been sent as something else I had bought. It has taken 2 years for it to bloom .
The flower is lovely with quite thick petals, nicely frilled . Hardy in all weather and stands up well to our wind. The standards are near white with a sort of wash of pale creamy yellow all over being darker yellow at base. Falls are white with bright yellow beards. Sweetly scented.
Not one of the extra tall iris but still up there with most of mine. Flowers have heaps of pollen which is why I would like to keep as a breeder.
I have seeds from last seasons crossing with Azure Angel ready to plant. So it's a good parent
