I love that picture. I stopped using pesticides when I saw how hard a bee was working on one of my single peonies. We don't have nearly as many bees as we used to here.

Thought we were on our way for poppies 2011 but got 6 inches of snow yesterday
I don't envy you. The weather turned cold here last night... but thankfully no snow.
Some melting yesterday. The sun is so close to the earth now that even with temps in the 30's we get daytime melting.Longrange forcast predicted a colder spring than last year.
Terrible spring in the Pacific NW also this year. And a cold summer has been forecast.

I planted some that looked like that in the photo.
The name was RyBeaner. I might be wrond. They are jus 1 inch tall now.
