Searching for a red...

So I'm looking for an iris that is similar to 'Reckless in Denim' (http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/254630/) but with a red wash on the falls instead of the violet.

Any suggestions?

Scatterbrain seemed like an option (http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/245467/), but I was wondering if there were any others out there?

You might try 'full figured (T. Johnson). The white is not as clear, but red-purple on the falls.
Latin Hideway (H. Nicols) has a more clear set of white standards.

I'm looking at my Schreiner's catalog and I found one named "Vapor" (http://www.schreinersgardens.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SIGO&Product_Code=102386)

the online photo looks purple, the catalog looks red and the description reads: "Vapor's ruffled petals are pure white. Refer to photo on page 44 to see the reddish violet lines overlaying the falls. Hybridizer is Ghio, 2002, ML, 38".

Response on FaceBook from Pleasant Valley Iris Gardens: "Scatterbrain" is the closest to "Reckless In Denim"

I got my Schrieners yesterday and Vapor cought my eye. I really like it but Scatterbrain is great too.

Love the markings on Tango Amigo, but it's more brown. Very, very nice though.

I ordered Tomcat and Tango Amigo this year from Snowpeak. I love the pattern on Reckless in Denim and that is why I ordered them. :)

Those plants are related to each other. 'ring around rosie' did fine here, 'whispering spriits' never bloomed.

I ordered Ring Around The Rosie for this year (before this thread)....I might have to add Whispering Spirits too (after this thread)!

I just love all of those Esp. Ring Around The Rose.
