Lizella, GA(Zone 8a)

Bought this at a Ginza sale last year.
The bloom is about 2 inches. Very frilly and delicate looking. Will post the plant too
Thanks,
Elaine

Hi Elaine,

That's I. japonica. Goes by lots of common names including orchid iris. Not to be confused with Japanese iris which is I. ensata. I. japonica is a tender iris. Not hardy for me, darn it. Although it can be grown as a houseplant.

Thanks, Polly, I knew you would recognize.
Mine from you are spiking with the warm weather we had last week.
