I have just found out that the holly trees I see planted around town (Valdosta, GA), and that I love the look of, are Palatka Holly. In trying to research whether they would be good in my front yard (along with some Arborvitae and maybe a mulberry tree) I have found discussion about the Palatka being more "formal" and the dahoon "informal". Can anybody discuss these trees -- and especially their growing experience -- more thoroughly? Thanks!
