where to buy and what

i want a caudiform but have tried desert roses but they got rot. want to replace it but right now none of the nurseries have any. what others would you recommend? have tried something called litrops but those died too. think more a cactus though. thanks

Try Euphorbia bupleurifolia. It's a reliable plant, likes water when in leaf, develops a fantastic form over time. See this recent thread:

Lithops require special care, which isn't hard, but you do have to treat them with special care. Probably best to avoid if you had rot problems in the past. In any case, here's a page with info and a wide selection.
