I garden in grow boxes up on a balcony and need a high quality potting soil, light weight but substantial enough to support flowers, vegetables, and herbs. I've got to fill six big boxes.
I don't want synthetic fertilizers or moisture retaining additives in the mix. (Miracle-Gro)
Does anyone have a favorite container mix that they could recommend?
Thanks everyone!
Which potting soil to use for grow boxes on a balcony?
Fafard. They make many types of mixes so check their site before you buy.
Fafard makes a good mix. We prefer Ferti-Lome (no connection to FertiSorb), which is made by Lambert .
