Some people seem to think I still use a blanket and a fire to communicate. I still pay my bills by mail (another regret since the USPS just lost four of my bill payments, including my mortgage, and I just paid almost $200 in stop-check fees and late fees). I'm constantly teased for living in the stone age...
:)

Wow, Dee. Rotary phone? Icebox? Horse?!! You make the Flintstones look cutting-edge!! ^_^
LOL, Victor, you just reminded me - I bought an old rotary phone off of craigslist last year for ten bucks. Supposedly still works. I meant to put it in my newly renovated basement. I'll have to find it and try it out - I can put it next to my new HD tv, lol.
Just a computer. I'm a Flintstone minus 1.
i do not consider myself a techie - have a a bunch of hdmi cables to replace the component video cables on the cable/tv/entertaiment center/dvd - i need to choose a time to attack this when my wife is away so when i mess it up i'll have time to fix it :) there would hell to pay if she had no tv!!

I'm really not into gadgets....I get by with a few basics. I just got the DVR this past year and don't even think it's all that necessary with all the on demand channels.
I absolutely do not need a phone with a data plan....but was given an ipad for Christmas as a surprise and will admit that I love it. If I travel, I will pay to have internet access with the ATT network. Then I'll cancel it when I get home. Another thing to add to the techie list would be ipads or e-readers.
Victor, my parents still have rotary phones. I have to teach my kids how to use them when we visit.
I have computerized sewing machines and am learning how to use the embroidery software.
Funny, Lucy!
I am looking forward to getting the new iPad in the spring, nor.
Am in the Flintstone era as well.....have high speed internet....cable, & an HD TV...have a DVR, but don't know how to use it. Have Sirius in the car....came with it, but I don't listen to it, like NPR on the radio. Have a cell phone for emergencies......do wish I had a better camera, though!
