Not much doing here today, except pouring down rain, some of it freezing when it hits the surface. Bad picture day.

Granny, Sorry to hear about the weather there...not much better here...very dreary. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I'm chomping at the bit for Spring to arrive. I never had such a bad case of cabin fever!

I just cleared about 4-5 inches of fresh snow off the diriveway so DH can get in. They had to work today to make up for closing Wednesday. Glad it was nice and fluffy.

Well here its been snowing everyday almost...we have about 2ft as a base and its really coming down again. I,m getting ready to shovel again for the 3rd time in about 2 hours about 2 inches every time. :( C,mon Spring...lol
I do manage to get some shots but mostly its been in the backyard. First another Horned Lark shot...this from yesterday.

I wish Elvis would come here & take care of our squirrels. The snow is high enough that they can jump to the feeder from the 'ground'.

Here is a female Cardinal having a bad hair day.

You have been talking about Juncos getting on the suet feeders, well, today I actually got one doing exactly that. There have been Juncos all over the place today.

Notice the gray at the end of his wing, I never have seen that before.

Elvis must have an Oklahoma relative.

This pic of a Goldfinch sums up what many of us are experiencing right now! Had another 2 inches last night but today is sunny...but not warm!!

Whatever did we do before the BW forum? Some of the photos are priceless!, and it's really wonderful to see those from other parts of the country and around the world. Thanks to ALL of you for your contributions!

We have a new juvie Bald Eagle flying along the lake. This is the youngest we've seen since last year.
