Help, Pictures needed

I'm putting together a PlantStep catalog for our friends, The Busbys, and I need pictures. Does anyone remember the website where we sent our own pics so others could use them? I feel stupid as I sent in a ton myself but can't find it now.

Oh wow I clicked on it and that's wonderful to have all the photos right there. Now I have a question. Can we borrow these photos and use them in our plantstep program? I have tons of older daylilies with not photos.(frown) What am I talking about I have very few pictures of any of my daylilies in the photo part of the program simply because I don't recall all the names when I'm looking at the photos with no reference. (bigger frown) I have since learned to take a shot of the name tag while I'm take the pictures of each bloom. (wink)

I hope your going to help me with this too Leslie.

All the images in the registered section can be used. They were donated for that purpose. You'll see some friends' names in there.

I have been using those too. The pics are better than most of my own. I bought a new Canon so hopefully, I can donate to the site this fall. I think it is a great idea to host it for others to use. Only thing, I have some cultivars that are not listed :(

I wonder if the dl group here at DG would like to start a free use website. We have some great photographers here!

Or we could add to those on the other one and make a more complete collection there.

Thanks so much for the link to the site with the pictures! I have almost no good pictures yet to add to Plantstep, so I'll be spending a lot of time on this site! I'm also going to contribute any photos that I have that are missing. What a great way to share pictures with everyone! I'm still learning how to use Plantstep, but I love it! The only thing I was really missing was the photos.

sorry Les, I don't have even ONE of the plants on your list :( so I can't contribute!

Willie Markus is stunning, as is Jennifer Trimmer! Two more to add to my "must have" list! Lyle, you have very good taste!

I spent about a half hour on the hybridizer.net site, and found lots of pictures to use! I also found many that I have that aren't on there, so I'll be busy this year adding pictures. I hope everyone here adds their pictures to that site, of ones that are missing. It's a great resource!

Does anyone have a picture of Entrapment that I could use? I know for a fact that the picture that was on the tag, looks nothing like the flower should. Mine didn't bloom last year, and I need a picture for Plantstep.

So it is OK to copy and paste these pics? I thought DG had a copyright on pics? I have some pics that are not on the hybridizer.net site either but I didn't know if everyone would have excess to add to it. Has anyone tried today? I have been working on my Plantstep today and found a list of a few more I had ordered in 09. You can see my list and my blanks at LOL at

I think you just cant take your pictures with you when you leave. If you post them, they are Daves. I didnt think there was a problem copying our own and others pictures. If there is, well...TDB as far as Im concerned :-X. It had something to do with the database I think.

I have the copy right turned off on my photos as long as the photos arn't used for anything other than to represent the daylily in the photo i see no reason not to share.
