Southern Oklahoma photo opportunity

Gainesville, TX

Our Marietta, Oklahoma photo and travel club is looking for iris farms or private gardens to view and photo this coming April. I am aware of Argyle in Texas and Stout in OK City, both of which we have toured in the past.
Do any of my Dave's friends know of other areas within a hundred miles of here that we can see this spring? Bursteen in Grand Prairie: is he open for public tours? I"ll check with the photo forum as well, but I would really appreciate input from you all.

Clark Gardens Botanical Park in Weatherford, TX has a beautiful spring flower mix that includes iris. There is an admission fee which I would gladly pay if I had the opportunity to go.

I would suggest going to the various iris society pages and looking at the display garden listings.

www.tbisonline.com
Tall bearded iris society has several listed for Oklahoma and Texas.
Malevil gardens is in Lubbock, TX and also has aril bred iris.
Perry Dyer is in Blanchard, OK. Don't know how close he is to you.

Also, look at the Median Iris Society site for display gardens.

Thanks guys, I am in between Dallas/Ft worth (65 miles) and Ok City (125 miles) ..Lubbock or Weatherford (I would love to see Clark Gardens) is a little too far for a short day trip but we are going to tour Argyle Acres ( Arglye, TX) for bearded iris in early April..

Gainesville, TX

Looking closer I realize Weatherford is just about 100 miles....we could do that....thanks
