Web Comics, Anyone?

Columbus, OH(Zone 6a)

I just discovered this great source for people who like graphics novels, or anyone who likes great stories and illustrations. Yeah, I know. I'm so out of it when it comes to the internet.) :)

Graphic novels are not just for kids! And they are not only sci-fi or fantasy genres, either. Here's some of my favorite titles. Anyone else have some recommendations?*

*I couldn't remember if I had posted this topic before. If I have, forgive me and my middle aged brain. :)

The Abominable Charles Christopher - http://www.abominable.cc/2007/06/20/episode-1/ A voiceless, childlike yeti sent to save his forest home.

The Meek - http://www.meekcomic.com/2008/12/27/chapter-1-cover/ Two civilizations on the brink of war, with a wild child and an outcast as the possible saviors of humanity.

Octopus Pie - http://www.octopuspie.com/2007-05-14/001-pea-wiggle/ Hipsters in 21st Century Brooklyn. Has a kind of "Friends" vibe. Funny and/or heartbreaking. Some of the best web discussions arise from the stories here.

Lackadaisy - http://www.lackadaisycats.com/comic.php?comicid=1 Bootleggers in 1920s St. Louis but... all the characters are cats. Sounds weird, but it works. Gorgeous artwork in this comic. Warning, some violence, as to be expected when you are dealing with gangsters.
