Old metal bed springs?

I have a couple of these metal bed springs and thinking of using for a trellis/fence. Haven't looked closely at how they can be attached to a support "post" -- maybe some of those metal poles that are pounded into the ground and have little loops(?) for connecting fence wire? Any ideas?
