We are expecting horrid weather again ...snow...ice....
The daphne blooms are in place and the edgeworthia too. Edgeworthia are still tightly in bud. Do you think a tenth of an inch of ice will ruin the bloom? Not worried about the shrub...these both can bend pretty good with no breakage.

we got snow last year and my Edgeworthia still bloomed however I think the length of time the snow stayed last year was much shorter than what we're seeing now...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!!
Thanks. Wait all year for these. Just hate the shrub the rest of the year. Nothing to recommend it. Hope the ice doesn't ruin the long wait. Crazy weather.
If I had to pick one of the two to survive, I'd take the daphne. Pretty all year and that heavenly fragrance...... Wafts all over the yard...
