i have gone on the labrador retriever diet with my wife - a can plain green beans for dinner
well i added a hot dog last night and tonight it will be a veggy burger.
What's on the menu for 2011?
Finger lickin' good fried chicken with french fries and plenty of ketchup, spinach salad on the side.
Cheese danish with almonds for dessert.
Tacos and refried beans
Pork chops, spinach and cheesy flatbread. Rice pudding for dessert.
baked chicken and black beans with cilantro over spicy cajun rice. No desserts allowed here. :(

OKOK had surgery and of course I am a Queen and could not cook...so tonight hubbie made some chicken cutlets, I put my feet up, my girl made the salad...and hubbie made the almost fat free french fries in our acti fry machine :) now i can rest and watch a movie...

Changed plans as I often do, & went to lunch in town because the little restaurant there was serving stuffed cabbage.....so split pea tonight....
Probably pressure cooker beef stew tonight.
Thats what were are having, beef stew in the crock-pot.
we will go our to a "take out/ eat in little restuarant near-by tonight for wifes b-day - it is a bring your own wine place - and this weekend a very expensive beef rest. with the in-laws.
Making homemade chicken soup, hope this comes out good....for some reason that's the one thing that never works out for me(soups)

bay leaves, thyme, rosemary, sage and parsley... I always strain the stock so I just throw them in whole... if I am low on that stuff or don't have fresh... I will use the Italian herb mix
