Help me with ideas please

I have a bunch of broken clay flower pots. Some glazed but mostly plain clay pots. I am clumsy but the main reason I have so many is the ____ squirrels who frequent my porch and knock things over.... grrrr.
I hate the idea of sending it all to the land fill.
Anyway, I am not into mosaics but what else could these broken things be used for. It could be totally functional. (pave the driveway.... well maybe not.). I am not necessarily looking for any beautiful thing to happen to all the pieces. I would love a variety of ideas for any functional or beautiful use for this 'trash'.

PS I have tried to glue some of them back together, which is totally possible but WAY to time consuming.
