One from my Youth

In the olden days, the state of Virginia had three institutions for the mentally handicapped, Eastern State ( Dunbar) Western State (Staunton), and Southwestern State (Marion). On one nice spring afternoon, two inmates at Eastern State were relaxing on the porch facing the street. An old farmer drove his team and wagon down the street. He had a full load of cow manure. One of the inmates called out: " hey Mister, what are you going to do with that manure?" The farmer replied: "Put it on my strawberries." Well what do you know?" said the inmate to his companion. "I put cream and sugar on mine and they think I'm crazy."
