Have LOTS of fresh seed from 100% organically sown/hown/grown Long Island Cheese pumpkins. This heirloom makes for the BEST pies, hands down. I didn't like pumpkin pie of any kind until I tried this pumpkin variety!
I grew one plant this year as a test plant and was shocked by its vigor---the Long Island Cheese outperformed all of my other hybrids and heirlooms and seemed more resistant to late mildew than any of my other squashes. So, I'm planting many more in 2011 and hope to sell the surplus at our local farmers' market. (One pumpkin yields about 4-5 pies).

Hi Blue! Do you have any Rudbeckia "Moreno" seeds avail from your have-list? I'd love to trade for them---beautiful! They're similar to my beloved "Cappuccino" which is borderline for my zone so I dont know if they'll survive winter. Your "Moreno" is just as nice!
