What's Blooming at my house

Winnsboro, TX

Wow, I haven't been home in over a week. I've been sitting with the little old man 24/7 and I was off yesterday for 24 hours. I have to go back to work in 2 hours for another week without anytime off until next Tuesday. I'm not complaining, I thank God everyday for providing me with this new job. Anyway imagine my surprise when I come home and find these things in bloom. I don't know what the name of this iris is but I'll start with it.

Next blooms I walked around and found. A white Brugmansia or Angel Trumpet.

Can you see my Cross in this photo? It sits at the top of the hill near the road.

Just a couple more since it will be another week before I can post anything. THis is my pink confederate rose in full bloom. This plant is about 9ft tall and the blooms are huge. Very cheerful to see something blooming like this when not much else is blooming.

Last one for now, got to get ready to go to work. Roses for all my dear garden buddies and friends. Hugs to each of you until I can log back on.

God Bless you and your families, Love Marian

Well I have a followup doctors appointement with my Primary Doctor this coming Monday, If I'm not doing alot better I'll be taken straight into surgery and several day of recovery. I ask that ya'll pray for me a complete hearling without haveing to go back to the hospital.

I totally agree with Lucy. We try to keep up the pace but it isn't so easy anymore. Who ever named it the Golden Years?

Marian, I hope it isn't anything serious and that things will be back to normal soon. You are in my prayers.

Marian, so sorry to hear of your illness, we wish you a rapid recovery whatever the problem maybe.

Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes.

I'm still alive and kicking just not very high. Just checking in to let everyone know I'm ok. I just got back from my doctors appointment. I have an appointment with a specialist Dec 12. Please know that it is not too serious, it is not my heart.... (cause ya'll all know I don't have one, I have a thumping gizzard). It is female related and could be cancer. Not 100% sure of anything at this point. Not going to worry about it at all until "I know what to worry about." Your mind can make you think the worse when stuff like this is going on. I'm also having some stomach problems, maybe I'll lose some weight because of it hurting. Any who I enjoyed my drive today and just looking at Gods Coloring Book. The fall leaves are breathtaking and the beautiful blue sky in the background just makes the reds, yellows, and orange leaves so spectacular. It's just an explosion of color everywhere you look. It also helps to have the huge tall green pine trees in the mix with their pinecones hanging everywhere. I think this fall have been the prettiest one I've ever seen here in East Texas. Hope each of you have a splended Thanksgiving surrounded with family and friends. We all have so very much to be thankful for if we just slow down and think about it for a few minutes. God Bless you and yours,
Love Marian

Marian, hope everything is okay and that the reason you are not on here is because you are working.. Please let us know how you are doing, as we are thinking about you.

Thank you for all the prayers and kind words. I haven't been feeling too well and I just have not been online. I am no longer working and I just can't for now. I was setting with the last client 24/7 and just stretched myself way to thin. After my last trip to the doctor they went ahead and put the little old man in Home Place which is part of hospice. Hopefully I'll be good as new sometime in December. God Bless each and everyone of you my dear gardning buddies and friends.
Love Marian
