Phalsa (Grewia Asiatica)
Lee, TopTropicals in Florida has it on their plant list, but is not available right now. You can get on the waiting list for it though.

They appear to be the only source here in the states unless you can find some seeds from someone. I saw your post on the Texas Rare Fruit Growers link.
Thanks.
I have purchased seeds on a few times but they have never germinated.
Jujube, do you know if they still have the one at the Fruit and Spice Park in Miami? They will let people take any seeds that are on the ground, or sometimes even do air-layering.
If you come across some seeds, let me know.
Will do. I don't live close enough to pop over for a visit, but I plan on being there early next year (March) and again in July, so I'll check for you if you haven't found them before then. I'll also ask around at my chapter of the Rare and Exotic Fruit Council.
Thanks!!!
I got my seeds from Fruit and Spice Park a couple of years ago and planted 3. Two of them germinated, but I lost one over the winter from neglect. The other is fine, but still very small. They took a while to germinate, but success was good.
Eldon tropicals has seedling too.
Mine have doubled in size since I got them.
I will leave one out this winter under the impression it will freeze and come back from the base.
