Help with weed ID

Bensenville, IL(Zone 5a)

I posted this over on the Plant/Tree Identification with no luck so thought I'd try over here.

My dog goes nuts over this weed's leaves. She's stripped all the leaves off of it and keeps looking for more. It's grown to about
3 1/2' tall and it's leaves are slightly rough - like fuzzy rough. She sniffs all around and singles this one out to eat. It must be something good for her I guess!

The one with the flowers isn't the best and I snippped it off for the seeds. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!

I have those too... no idea what they are.. .but i recognize them as something i've been pulling.
I'll be interested to hear what they are.

No clue here. My dogs will eat grass and fuzzy leaves to empty an upset tummy..but that isn't what that sounds like.
If possible would check with local agricultural agent, or maybe your vet would know.

Here's what I think it might be. I looked in DG plant files and the plant looked different so I googled cleavers and illinois and it looks like the plant. I had remembered reading somewhere here in DG that a post that their dog loved to eat the cleavers in their yard, that stuck with me and the light bulb went on. No wonder she likes to eat it based on what it says for the medicinal uses. I kept the seed head and will probably plant it next year so she can munch on it.
