Common Tailorbird (Orthotomus sutorius)
That is about a cute as it gets. :-)
I just wrote a blog on its nesting. Do read if you find time: http://mysoreanmusings.blogspot.com/2011/07/our-garden-hosts-two-bird-nests.html You may read my other blogposts also if they interest you. Let me know, Kelli.
That is a very good blog. I enjoyed that.
The one on the elephants was fascinating, if rather awful! Shame they were provoked into doing so much damage :-(
Resin
Thanks Kelli.
Resin, Yes, you are right, it was awful. The problem here is that there are too many people with too many differences in levels of intelligence and sense. But still, life goes on! If they were all having a proper sense, they would not have gone out to anger the wild beast. People are used to tamed elephants from the palace or the zoo being taken for a walk once in while in the city streets, but this one from the wild was a real shocker.
