I have a question for those of you who sell your quilts. I donated this quilt for a fundraising auction to the Red Cross and need to give an estimated value for tax purposes. It is a lap quilt and is backed with pre-quilting backing. It was signed by me and dated via embroilery on the back and was quilted with SID. I don't plan on selling my quilts, but I would like to give an appropriate estimated value so that I can claim it as a donation on taxes for 2010. Any help would be appreciated.
