It seems so long away. :(

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Not really
Only 48 days lol

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

It does seem longer from when the days start to get longer to spring than when the days get shorter to winter, but it at least puts things in perspective JoAnn. Positive thinking is good. I am already wishing winter away and it hasn't even got here yet. Hoping for early warm up, early clean up and normal rain amounts for next season. Until then counting down the days to turning the corner towards spring. Thanks for the reminder.

I would wish winter away too.

Or that I win the lotto & spend the next 4 months in a warm place. And it's only 4 months to Spring....we can do it!

After Saturday, it will seem far off. And you really don't notice the increasing daylight until the very end of January.

I have to amand the lament about how long until spring.
I just read some posts about witchazels and remembered I have some newbies that bloom in February and March.
That's not all bad.
