I have watered my Massonia depressa once a month since about September, and today I was afraid I rotted it out, bringing it out to the sunshine for a biopsy to see if there was a viable bulb. A little green shoot was apparent, biopsy was aborted! Yea!!! I don't get to see this plant for 9 months, its so good to see it return.
Alive! Massonia depressa budded!
Congratulations.
Thanks I have been thinking about this one looking forward to its arrival, I had to say something!
That is always such a relief! That's great.
It appears to be growing with each watering. I am still keeping them small, but they sure are liked.
Yeah, it is fun watching them grow especially if you think they were dead.
