Question about tomato seeds

Biggs, KY(Zone 6a)

I fermented my tomato seeds quite a bit longer than usual. The seeds look normal after drying them but they have a "distinct" odor. Are they still good?

try growing a few

Guess that is what i will have to do. just thought some of the experienced seed savers here might know off hand.

Cajun, you could try and sprout a few in a paper towel/baggy.

However, I think they should be fine. I have left mine so long before that they started to germinate in that "goo" - lol... As long as they didn't germinate and they look good I think you're in the clear;o)

Maybe ask the "experts" on the Tomato Forum...

Thanks, Kelly. I'll just trot on over there.
