Several years ago I bought three azalea plants from a big box store sale (Lowes?). They always had nice pink blooms in spring, but this year I noticed that they have been reblooming throughout the summer, and as the picture shows, it is mid-October and they still have a few flowers. Is this normal? I never had azalea blooms this late before.

Reblooming Azaleas
'normal' is in the process of being redefined.
that is a first for me - never heard of reblooming azalea's
Mine did it too...just one or two blooms but this was just 2 weeks ago.
When I went to the dentists today, a rhodo had blooms on it....think it was the early spring....plants are ready to bloom again!
The new azaleas that rebloom are called Encore

This is the one I picked up at HD last year, hasn't rebloomed yet this year though :(
The pic is the rebloom in October
Encore is only hardy to z6 so thats not what I have. Looked at my tag and it's a small leaf rhody actually!
The leaves on mine look something like yours, flowAjen, and I'm in Z6, but the place I bought them from is not on their supplier list, so mine are probably not Encores. But as a confirmed theatre addict, I'll applaud them anyway!
Here's another rebloomer I found called Debut, but can't find much info on it...here's the list of retailers.
