Greenhouse for lychees and mangoes?

Cedar Lane, TX

Please recommend a source and any advice for a greenhouse for growing tropicals fruit trees. My site search isn't finding what I am looking for.

I want to install a tubular frame, plastic covered vented, high wall, about 20 by 24.

It will be for growing tropical fruit trees such as lychees and mangos in raised beds along with a few cucumbers and tomatoes in winter.

I live in zone 9 in coastal Texas (in Matagorda County). Our winters are very mild, lowest is typically 28 for a few hours about 3 days a year. Often we have no freezes. Occasionally a severe arctic blast. I am more concerned with ventilation.

Thanks
Louis

Thanks!

Mangoes produce best in a hot dry climate.

Lychee produces best in warm moist climates.

Bear in mind that Lychees require some chill hours for flowering and fruit production.

Both come in dwarf varieties. You might be better off acquiring those, and moving them in and out as suits your needs.
