Scarlet Run. Bean vs Hyacinth B.

What's the difference between Scarlet Runner Bean and Hyacinth Bean? They're both "beans". I know they have different colors, but the blooms look a lot alike. They both seem to reach about the same height.

Because they are kissin kin is why they look so alike. Scarlet runners are more prolific producers than hyacinth bean, both edible and ornamental.

Thanks. Of course, I think I like the hyacinth bean better and it's not as prolific. However, prolific isn't always good---like morning glory!
