Susie, I don't know if this is possible for everyone. I had began putting my seeds in individual packages. Those I can use for specific requests. May I put larger quantity of seeds in larger ziplocks? It will save on adding this info to each individual packet.
Common Name
DG user name
Sun requirements
Annual/Perennial
Zones

Is that correct?

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Looking forward to seeing the flight path when it's ready.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

GM

ANITA I Think when we have lottsa seeds of one Kind then yest we can use a snadwich size or smaller ziplock with the info on the outside everyone take out what they can use of this type &Just be sure lock the baggie up tightly again I also will be doing this with many of my seeds .

there will be about 15 of us in this group & these are mostly all new seeds from our gardens this year it is quite a collecting from what I'm looking at .

I rec'd a box in the mail yesterday & I won;t say from who but i will say when you see the
Packs you will know & I Will add that with all of these pks Plus what I Have I think we might have to go for a MED Flat rate box to start with. the cost cost will always be $10.70 for everyone & That is with conf.

but using a small SWich bag is plenty infact more then 15 people can use so Lets set that as our
4 pk limit as to one kind of seeds.

Hope I have not confused anyone if so let me know .

Dane,

Is Deep South the name of the city/town?

Deep South, TX(Zone 9b)

I live in Harlingen, it is between Brownsville and McAllen.
The area is called Lower Rio Grand Valley or deep south Texas. It's where the Rio Grand goes in the Gulf. The Iwo Jima monument is here.

Hope this helps,
Dane

(Anita) Fort Wayne, IN(Zone 6a)

Sounds like an interesting and scenic area. Nothing going on here but corn.

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Dane, we're barrier island nuts and would love to take a trip to your neck of the woods one of these days.

Thanks for the reminder, Susie, you've got me listed.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

GM All Just wanted to let you all know How bored i was of laying around had to stop in & Check on you all .

Dane your now Going to plant Daylily Seeds in PVC Pipe ??? Why Not Save the money for PVC & Just plant right into Mother natures Ground ??? That is the best way them Just keep weeds out of them they will grow better for you & Faster :)

has anyone heard of or have any of these seeds ??
ANELONIA
BABY BLUE EYES --NEMOPHILA MENZIESSII
LADY BIRD POPPY
BANE BROG LACE POPPY
PURPLE GLEAM POPPY

Guess you can tell what types of books i have been going through while laying around in this bed??
I have had also a few DG members wanting to send a few Types of seeds to share in out robin & They say they are going to send out soon to me Not sure what all there will be
but they will also be into the robin for all to go through.

well time for me to lay back once again back later in the day have a great weekend everyone .
& thank you forthe well wishes I'm sure i will :)

Deep South, TX(Zone 9b)

The origal message was in starting Irises. The people in "Vegetable Gardening: Zones 8-9" are using this method to start their veggies with good results. Found one person who used cut paper towel tubes instead of PVC then planted the whole thing. It's toward the bottom so skip to new.

http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1126351/#top

Hope you are getting better.

Dane

Everett, WA(Zone 8a)

Susie, I got Baby Blue Eyes Nemophila menziesii in trade from Sequee a month or two ago. I think she got them from NatureWalker who might be Robin. There are dates of 2006 and 2008 on the label, so they may be 2-4 years old.

It looks like 40 - 50 seeds. I put your name on 20-25 seeds for when the Robin flies.

Here's the notes I took:

================================================
Baby Blue Eyes - - - Nemophila menziesii
4-6" tall. Part-full shade
Freely self-sowing annual
Bloom in spring for 1-2 months.

sow barely covered, outside, in the cold, don't transplant.
(wintersow or in spring?)

Got seeds 2010 via Sequee
(from NatureWalker = Robin?) (2008)

"Nemophila" = woodland-loving or love-grove
