I have a garden bed which has mostly Camellias , gardenias and azaleas I would like to plant perennials in between for more of a show during the summer months. As the afore mentioned are acid soil lovers I am assuming I should plant similar soil loving plants? Anyone have ideas I live in the Perth area of Western Australia
perennials for acid soils
I love Lavendar and if you squeeze the flowers the oil pours out on your fingers and smells delicious. The more you cut the flowers the better the plant as with most herbs. Lavendar will nestle happily. Most of all the soil will be correct. Correct me if I'm wrong I'm not an expert I only speak from experience.
