help ? also, living in Florida, would east side of the house be best ? in mid summer starts getting shade around 2:00 as it actually a " tad " south east

This was given to us, it had been planted in the shade and was even more leggy than it is now. I was going to plant it on the east side of the house, morning sun, afternoon shade. Will that work for this ?
