Ballerina arrived today.

Its time again for Amaryllis Fever in the Northern Hemisphere. My first bulb arrived today from White Flower Farms: Ballerina, a new double pink Sonata from Hadeco. This first bulb is lovely and healthy. Hope that's a forecast for the quality of the bulbs this season. Everyone repeat after me, " This season, I will receive healthy, correctly labelled bulbs".

Ballerina didn't take long to bloom. A unusual shade of pale pink with darker pink veining and a white throat. Nice start to the season.

That is a beauty, haven't seen that one before! I haven't recieved my bulb order yet!!
