Humidity + sprinkles + damp = FUNGUS MONSTERS!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Got black fungus? I sure do. It's been very humid, hot and now sprinkly in Houston and black is taking over, even growing on my bamboo torches, the dirt, my fences, etc. My tomato plants are probably gone. What is the best solution to get rid of it? I have an org. powder with I think sulfur and copper but I have such a large area and you need to really get all of the plant covered. Is there a liquid solution I can make and spray everything? I'm thinking of using a "regular" fungicide for the plants I don't plan to eat...Help!

Sounds like sooty mold growing on the honeydew of aphids/scale/mealybug. Any large trees nearby that might be harboring populations of these pests?

I have mealybugs on lots of things right now and just sprayed some insecticidal soap tonight. I read about using "cornmeal water" as a fungicide. I'm going to try that tomorrow. It's supposed to be good for toenail fungus too--I'm trying it for that too! Thanks for the input.
