I found an extremely ugly, ratty old sofa at an estate sale. I don't think the seller thought it would find a buyer, so it didn't even have a price tag. She seemed rather startled when I asked for a price, and it went home with me for $20.00. I had my husband remove the arms; the rest of the sofa went into the trash. After a paint job, I knew an arm would be a perfect medallion for one of my Moroccan lanterns.
Oh dear, the flash shows up the dust on top! And I don't have a bright orange ceiling; wouldn't be happy with that!
