TB Loud Music seems to be dead...

Philadelphia, PA(Zone 6b)

just got it at the end of July from Blue J, planted it in a container and found it the other evening in a sad, sad state.

The leaves are totally brown and dry and the rhizome ain't looking too hot.

Waited so long to get it and now it's toast.

So annoyed.

Contact BlueJ right away. Maybe they will replace it. Worth a try as that is so sad.

I have had plenty of iris look like 'toast' over the years, just plant it and wait, and wait some more. Many times they will sprout. It just takes them a while. May not see anything til spring. That said, I would still try to get it replaced.

I was pleasantly surprise tonight. I loved Moonlit Sea when it bloomed this first year. But it took a lot out of the rhizome and looked dead. I dug it up & replanted in another area. After 8 weeks, these two tiny rhyzomes peeked up. As Frillylily said, I would also ask them to replace it. They value their customers.

I was out cleaning up yesterday and there are the tiniest of new leaves coming up. Hopefully, it just needed the extra boost from all the recent rain and will perk up even more.

Fingers crossed.
