Maybe the ID forum folks are on vacation

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Hi everybody!!! I miss everyone and am torn up that I can't make it to Bill's RU. Someone please bring a paper cutout of me attached to a stick so I can pose for the group pics!

My friend wants me to ID this plant. It looks like a sedum to me. They're not responding at the ID forum, so I thought I'd try my friends here!

love to everyone,
Harper

Looks like some kind of sedum, let me do some research and get back to you...

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I vote sedum.

Thomaston, CT

Definitely a sedum...could be Abbeydore, but not sure if that one has red stems. We'll miss you, Harper, at Bill's!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Harper! How can you not come to the RU? That is so not fair!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

No, I can't come. Really wish I could. Someone woke up in the ID forum and said it was a Hylotelephium, a friend of sedum. Thanks guys!

Thomaston, CT

Not a sedum? Must be a close cousin!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

looks like a sedum here too - sorry you can not make it harper.

Me too, Bill... me too.

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi, Harper. That looks like a Matrona sedum. Your flower looks a little too light, though.
I have both Autumn Joy and Matrona in the nursery. Matrona has the red stems.

Oooo-weeee, look at that! It has opposite leaves, too, like my pic. Many sedum I saw had alternate or whorled leaves. Thanks Andy!

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

Glad I could help. I hadn't noticed the opposing leaves, good call.
