help remove infomash malware

Recently my google searchs are sometimes being redirected by something called infomash. This @#$%! sticks like glue.My daughter who is good at cleaning up pcs,worked on it for 2 days & thought it was gone. This morning,there it was again.
I have a desktop,windows Vista.
